Attention Bay Area Bellydancers! Don't miss your chance to improve your dance technique and performance ability with legendary local dancer & teacher, Nanna Candelaria, in a small, intimate studio setting. These classes will be held at Shoebox Studio, in the heart of downtown San Francisco! Nanna will teach in separate sessions which focus on specific and essential components to Belly Dance, and comprising a full spectrum of skills, in particular those used by the solo dancer.

Sessions last 6 weeks and are based on an immerse approach to progress. Beyond basic aspects such as: stretches, exercise sequences, movement study, steps, and combinations; students are thrown into the music in order to also practice the concepts in motion. Nanna will lead the class through exercises in focus, projection, visuals, timing, dynamics, and efficient distribution of strength and energy. The overall goal is the development of a more personal, effective, and fulfilling dance experience.

$15 drop in or $80 for a 6 week session.
